H.E Ahmad Ali Al Mualla was born in 1957 in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain. He started his career at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1979. After 4 years, His Excellency was moved to work at the UAE embassy in the Syrian Arab Republic, then in 1988 to the UAE embassy in the Turkish Republic, UAE embassy in Austria (1990), and the UAE embassy in Indonesia in1997.
In 2000, H.E was named UAE Ambassador in Japan, and then in 2008 he was appointed to be the first Ambassador of the UAE to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. In 2014, he was appointed Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Romania and Non-Resident Ambassador in Bulgaria in 2016.
During his long diplomatic career, Al Mualla has participated in several international meetings and conferences, where he gained valuable expertise in diplomacy and international cooperation. Al Mualla studied at Cairo University where he graduated in 1978. He is married, and has 4 children.
